What is FOMT?
FOMT - Friends Of Michael Thomas. This group was created in memorial by the friends and family of Mikey Tom (as we called him). He was an avid motorcycle and avaition entheusist, and we continue to honor him by putting together the FOMT Chip and FOMT Poker Run. We also like to contribute to various charitable organizations that are along the same lines of what Mikey Tom enjoyed in life.Return to FAQ
What do I get when I sponsor FOMT?
You can choose to either sponsor a page in our chip book or make a donation to us that we will combine with all other donations we receive. We will also include a link to your website on our page. Any donation is appreciated.Return to FAQ

What is the FOMT Chip Run?
The FOMT chip run is consists of a Chip Book that riders purchase and it contains various destinations inside. The goal is stop and pull a poker chip at as many destinations as possible. Various establishments will sponsor a page in the Chip Book for a nominal donation. The Chip Run goes from April 15th until August 22nd, and culminates with the FOMT Poker Run. During the Poker run all Chip Run particiant turn in their books to determine their pulled poker chip values. These valuese are unknown to everyone and are drawn at random during the pre-Poker Run gathering. The person with the most points wins a small purse of $500.Return to FAQ
How many books were sold in previous years?
Every year our Chip Run continues to grow. Last year we sold over 200 Chip Books, with a majority of them being turned in with 75% of the sponor pages filled out!Return to FAQ
Do Riders/Participants have to make a purchase before they pull their poker chip?
No, we do not make it a requirement for Chip Book Participants to make purchaces at the sponsors place of business. Although, we do our best encourage it because we can not put together the Chip Run without you! We hope its a win-win for both of us.Return to FAQ
